Approach for the exhibition "The Lacemaker"

In my work, I observe my surroundings and myself as a woman. My work reflects my perspective on the woman who adorns herself with pretty things, sometimes, in order to hide his inner pain and other times to externalize his joy.
The woman is "lace" of life, she navigates among its tasks in order to find the "golden path" between the needs of his family, his place in society and his own spiritual needs and personal needs.
The work is done in mixed media, using pieces of old clothes in cotton and lace as abstract compositions in relief, which many nostalgic associations arise home, childhood, femininity .... In some works the, quote "The Dictionary of the toilet," published in England by "Pears Soap" company in 1933. I found a lot of values ??that is part of my education, requiring the woman always seem happy, interested, well maintained and with a perfect behavior,
hiding his real "truth" in order to succeed in life. On the other hand, I quote in Virginia Woolf's "A room of their own," she urges women to participate in his private life and his personal needs.
